Recently retired university lecturer in ecology and environment, with research interests in birds. About 70 publications. Currently researching the global spread of an invasive bird – the House Crow.  Has a life-long interest in natural history, worked Africa for 8 years, has travelled widely and led numerous natural history fieldtrips overseas.
